Youth Council

The Youth Council is the representative body of the youth of St. Francis. They will assist in the conception, planning, and execution of social, service, and liturgical events for the youth of the parish. As ambassadors, they will share with the Youth Staff any ideas, concerns, or topics of discussion that has a need or interest to be discussed within the lessons on Sunday nights.

As a representative of the youth, each Youth Council member has duties and responsibilities that they must live out and perform.

  • Attend Youth Group and Youth Council meetings regularly.
  • Actively participate during the meetings, service opportunities, and retreats.
  • Exhibit exemplary Christian behavior at all times.
  • Demonstrate leadership among peers.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow in the Christian faith.

    As a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Youth Council, I will abide by and maintain the values of the Catholic Church and the Youth Ministry program. I will maintain a Christian lifestyle and remain actively involved with the Youth Program as well as Church events to the best of my ability. I will do my best to make healthy choices and support my peers in all of my communities so they will also make healthy choices. I will live as an example of the Gospel to my peers and to others I encounter.
