Lector Training

Those who proclaim God's word in the liturgy are known as Ministers of the Word or Lectors. Answering the call to become a lector enters one into a deeper relationship with God as He is revealed in sacred scripture. Are you interested in becoming a lector for the Sunday 5:30 Mass? A training session is being planned, so please contact Marie for more information and to sign-up today.

Catholic Heart Work Camp July 27 – Aug 2, Boston MA
St. Francis has reserved 30 spots for youth to attend CHWC. The spots are on a first come, first serve basis. Spots are available to high school aged students only. Adult chaperones are needed, and 5 spots have been reserved. Adults will need to be in compliance with Protecting God’s Children.

A $100 deposit is required to secure your spot. This deposit is only refundable on the condition that another student can be found to fill your reservation. Total cost of the event is $295.00. Fundraising opportunities will be offered to help offset the cost to those participating. More information will be forthcoming.
