YOUTH CONFIRMATION
"Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. Like Baptism and Eucharist, it is a Sacrament of Initiation for Catholics and a Sacrament of faith in God's fidelity to us" (American Catholic).

Our regular parish program for Confirmation is a two-year process beginning in the 7th grade. Trained Catechists instruct candidates weekly in the central doctrine of our faith as it is expressed in the Apostle's Creed. Candidates also complete community service as a requirement for Confirmation. To register for Religious Education classes, contact Marianne Hayes at (703) 221-4978.
