PARENTAL PREPARATION FOR BAPTISM
Baptism preparation classes for parents of newly born and children under the age of six takes place on a regular basis at St. Francis Parish. Call the church office at (703) 221-4044 for the current schedule and registration format. Older children and adults should contact the Faith Formation Office at (703) 221-4978.
The Baptismal Preparation Class orients parents to the requirement for baptism; prepares parents to take an active part in their child's baptism; and encourages family recommitment to Catholic life and practice. The date for each baptism is normally schedule after attendance at one of these classes.
